This awesome and well crafted RICE LOBED came from Pettis Co Missouri and was part of the George Wolf Collection. It comes with a Roy Motley Certificate of Authenticity. It is obviously authentic and shows nice use with great patination. It is made from an excellent piece of Mozarkite chert. It shows fantastic percussion and pressure flaking. There is no modern damage. Rice Lobed points are Early Archaic in age, meaning to is 5,000 to 9,000 years old! A wonderful relic like this one will no doubt make an awesome addition to any authentic collection. This one is early stage and these are not often found in this great condition and stage of use.
