This PRE COLUMBIAN MAYAN WHISTLE is in very good condition and is obviously authentic. The material is well patinated and no modern damage. The decoration is hard to see in the picture. It has a classic stripe and spot motif. I have no doubt this fantastic whistle will make an excellent addition to any authentic collection. It's still functional and whistles quite loudly! We rarely get good Pre Columbian artifacts for sale. This one hails from a very old collection dating back to the 1940s.Size 2.68 inches in length. shelf1.83 inches wide.
