This rare DOUBLE GROOVE AXE came from Pike Co Missouri and is without a doubt an authentic example of a Missouri double groove. It shows nice use and patination. It is made from a beautiful green wirey Granite material. It has an excellent form overall and a near perfect bit. It has nice polish on the bit and grooves. There is no modern damage. This is a fantastic Axe and it will make an awesome addition to any authentic collection.
