This really nice COBBS KNIFE came from Calhoun Co Illinois and is obviously authentic. It shows nice use and great patination. It is made from a excellent well patinated material. It has great edge work and a very nice resharpening bevel. There is no modern damage. This is a well crafted Cobbs Knife and it will make an awesome addition to any authentic collection. Cobbs Knives are Early to Middle Archaic in age, ranging from 5,000 to 8,500 years old!
