This spectacular huge BENTON came from Prentiss Co Mississippi and comes with a Roy Motley Certificate of Authenticity. It is obviously authentic and shows nice use with great patination. It is made from a fantastic piece of Fort Payne chert. It shows excellent flaking overall and is super thin for its size. There is no modern damage. Benton points are Middle Archaic in age, ranging from 4,000 to 6,000 years old! Such a beautiful well crafted Benton point will no doubt make an awesome addition to any authentic collection.
