This spectacular BANNERSTONE came from Midwest USA and is obviously authentic. We were told that this fine Bannerstone was part of the Floyd Ritter Collection and likely from Missouri or Illinois. It shows nice use and fantastic patination. The piece is covered in very heavy mineral deposits and even has deposits all the way through the hole. The hole is classically cane drilled and patinated throughout with raised mineral deposits. It is made from a wonderful translucent material we believe to be white Quartzite. There is no modern damage. This is a must have for any authentic collection. The material alone makes it highly desirable!
