This very cool ARCHAIC DRILL came from Pettis Co Missouri and is obviously authentic. Large authentic drills are very hard to come by and are incredibly collectible. This one shows nice use and excellent patination in the form of raised mineral deposits. It is made from a classic piece of Burlington chert. There is no modern damage. Being Archaic in age, this Drill could be from 3,000 to 10,000 years old! This drill is larger than any of the drills in my personal collection and is one of the larger ones that I have ever seen! A relic of this size will definitely make an awesome addition to any authentic collection. This drill is much nicer in person than the pictures would lead you to believe!
